This privacy policy explains how sandeepupadhyay.com collects and uses information when you visit this site. This is a personal portfolio website operated by Sandeep Upadhyay. It does not run e-commerce, require account creation, or store personal data on its own servers.

This site collects information through two channels:
- Analytics.If Google Analytics 4 is active, it automatically collects anonymized usage data including pages visited, time spent, device type, browser, and approximate geographic location (country/city level). It does not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information. IP addresses are anonymized before storage.
- Contact form.When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, and message are sent to the site owner via Formspree, a third-party form processing service. This information is used only to respond to your inquiry and is not shared with any other party.
Cookies
This site uses cookies in two ways:
- Theme preference.A single localStorage entry stores your light/dark mode preference. This data never leaves your browser and is not transmitted to any server.
- Analytics cookies.Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish users and sessions. You can opt out of analytics tracking by enabling the "Do Not Track" setting in your browser, or by using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
